To uphold the academic standards and integrity of the Kalijaga International Conference on Education (KICE), all submissions will undergo a structured and selective review process. This policy ensures that only high-quality scholarly work is included in the full paper submission stage and subsequent publication.
1. Abstract Submission & Initial Review
All participants are required to submit an abstract (250–300 words) through the official KICE submission system.
Each abstract will be evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with relevant academic expertise.
Reviewers will assess the relevance, originality, clarity, and contribution of the abstract to the field of education.
2. Eligibility for Full Paper Submission
Only abstracts that meet the academic standards and are recommended by reviewers will be invited to submit a full paper.
Authors of accepted abstracts will receive an official notification via email, along with detailed instructions for full paper submission, registration, and payment.
3. Full Paper Review and Publication
Submitted full papers will undergo a secondary review through a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with relevant academic expertise.
Accepted full papers will be published in the official KICE proceedings (https://conference.uin-suka.ac.id/kice).
Selected high-quality papers may be offered the opportunity to be published in Scopus-indexed SHS Web of Conference and indexed partner journals (nationally accredited SINTA journals or internationally indexed Scopus/WoS journals), subject to further peer review.
4. Ethics and Plagiarism Policy
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using reliable detection tools (e.g., Turnitin/iThenticate).
Proper citations and adherence to academic integrity are the responsibility of the authors.
5. Review Committee
Reviewers are selected based on academic qualifications and subject-matter expertise in education and related disciplines.
All reviewers are committed to providing objective, constructive feedback while maintaining confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.
6. Final Decision
Final decisions regarding abstract and full paper acceptance will be made by the KICE Scientific Committee and Editorial Board, based on reviewers’ recommendations.
All decisions are final and non-negotiable.
